Since the start of lockdown we have been very busy here at Twisted Wheel, firstly we would like to thank everyone for their support through this difficult time . With generous donations we managed to raise over £1000 for the charity Joseph’s Goal, this was through selling some of the unsold cask beer we had in stock from when the pubs closed. Unfortunately and like lots of other breweries we still ended up losing a significant quantity.
Moving forward we have re launched our beer range and are now producing a wonderful range of modern craft beers. Initially available in 440ml and 330ml cans, we have also introduced some of the range in 5x litre mini kegs and have now brewed both the new Sunday Sessions (IPA, 3.8% ABV) and Speed Wobble (IPA, 4.7% ABV) to be available in both cask and keg. The feedback has been very positive and we have been selling these not only to bottle shops but also for home delivery to Wigan (WN) & Manchester (M) postcode areas. We even had a stand at the Makers’ Market in Manchester last Sunday, 14th June.
Back at the brewery we have made numerous improvements to our brew plant and will continue to do so to improve the capacity and quality of our beer range.
